Sao Paulo Gastro Tour - Tordesilhas
If you try to define Brazilian cuisine as a whole entity, you'll find it to be quite a hard task, since five different traditions can be clearly delineated. In this respect, Tordesilhas is a good option for people wanting to try typical staple dishes from each one of this traditions in one place. The food is great, the service is attentive and they have an amazing list of Cachaças (sugar cane rum) from which to choose.
We ordered 4 or 5 different dishes and shared. Gabi explained that most of them were interpretations of traditional dishes from the different regions, like the Sun-dried meat with onions and fried zuchini, or the fried salted-meat with onions, cilantro, mandioca flour, peppers and "bottle butter".
